Scope
OPTARCH2025 advances the role of optimization techniques in conceptual and detailed design of architectural and civil structures, fostering dialogue across architecture, structural engineering, computational design, sustainability and materials science.
A central aim is integrating shape, form-finding and topology optimization within CAD and BIM environments to enable performance-driven and aesthetically informed workflows, from components to full structural systems.
The conference promotes multi-objective design balancing structural efficiency, bioclimatic responsiveness, energy performance, material circularity and acoustic optimization—grounded in real-world constraints.

This conference is one of the four interlocking ICDTDE2025 events (ADDOPTML2025, OPTARCH2025, OPT-iii2025, DiGiCES2025), designed to foster cross-pollination of methods, standards and real-world impact.
